ResearchGate and American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers announce Journal Home partnership for complete portfolio

March 12, 2026

Berlin (Germany) and St. Joseph, MI (USA), 24 February, 2026 – ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE), a nonprofit organization and publisher addressing critical challenges in food security, water access, and environmental sustainability, today announced a new Journal Home partnership to grow new readership and authorship for ASABE’s entire journal portfolio.

The agreement covers all ASABE journals, including both subscription and hybrid titles, across key disciplines in Agriculture and Biology. Journal Home will support these journals by enhancing global visibility and engagement through ResearchGate’s network of more than 25 million+ researchers.

Participating journals will benefit from:

  • Increased usage and readership, with seamless delivery of all full-text journal content onto the ResearchGate platform reaching more relevant researcher communities.
  • Growth in authorship through stronger interaction with established and emerging authors throughout the research cycle.
  • Enhanced author support, including automatic uploads of published articles to author profiles and clearer insight into how research is being read, shared, and cited.
  • Enhanced journal visibility and branding, with dedicated Journal Profiles and prominent placement that strengthens recognition of ASABE’s journals.

Journal Home helps ASABE more broadly share technical knowledge and support professionals with high-quality resources,” said Joseph C. Walker, Director of Publications, ASABE. “With the improved access and global visibility, we will attract the most relevant authors and readers from across the engineering and technology community worldwide, raising public awareness and advancing sustainable solutions.”

“We’re pleased to welcome ASABE to Journal Home and support meaningful engagement across their full journal portfolio,” said Mathias Astell, VP of Commercial Products at ResearchGate. “By facilitating stronger connections between readers, authors, and journals, this partnership increases growth and measurable impact for these titles while supporting continued discoverability and opportunities for these specialised researcher communities.”
