ResearchGate and BMJ Group announce major expansion of their Journal Home collaboration

More than 60 journals published by BMJ Group will benefit from increased visibility, engagement, and author services, connecting research with over 25 million researchers worldwide 

Berlin (Germany) and London (England), 16 April, 2026 – ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and BMJ Group, a global healthcare knowledge provider, today announced a significant expansion of their Journal Home partnership to include the majority of BMJ Group’s full journal portfolio. 

Following two years of strong performance across an initial set of titles, the extended agreement will now see more than 60 journals benefit from Journal Home’s enhanced visibility, readership, and engagement with more than 25 million researchers worldwide.

Journals in the BMJ Group portfolio will now benefit from:​​​ 

  • ​​​​Increased visibility and usage, with full-text articles seamlessly integrated into the ResearchGate platform and discoverable by relevant audiences​​​ 
  • ​​​​Stronger engagement with potential authors across the research lifecycle, from readership to submission​​​ 
  • ​​​​Enhanced journal presence, with dedicated Journal Profiles that strengthen identity and positioning across the ResearchGate network​​​ 
  • ​​​​Expanded author services, including automatic article sharing to author profiles, insights into engagement, and opportunities for collaboration​​​
