ResearchGate and Compuscript announce expansion of their Journal Home partnership to include Compuscript partner journals

May 28, 2026

Berlin (Germany) and Shannon, Co. Clare (Ireland), 28th May, 2026 – ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and Compuscript, an independent open access publisher, today announced an expansion of their Journal Home partnership to support a broader selection of open access journals and further strengthen engagement with global medical, biotechnology, and life sciences communities.

Following a successful initial partnership, the expanded agreement now includes nine open access journals spanning disciplines including genetics, veterinary sciences, and biomedical research. Newly added titles – including select Compuscript partner journals – will now benefit from extended reach and visibility across ResearchGate’s network of more than 25 million active researcher members.

All participating journals will now benefit from:

  • Immediate sharing of open access content on ResearchGate, increasing readership, usage, and discoverability among highly relevant global research communities.
  • Continuous engagement with researchers throughout the research and publishing cycle, helping participating journals strengthen relationships with readers and attract high-quality global submissions.
  • Dedicated Journal Profiles that showcase each journal’s scope, identity, and latest research, driving deeper engagement with both readers and authors.
  • Automatic addition of published articles to author profiles, providing authors with insights into how their work is being read, shared, and cited across the ResearchGate network.

“We’ve been impressed by the results of our first year on Journal Home,” said Morgan Lyons, CEO, Compuscript. “As an open access publisher, ensuring our proprietary and partner journals achieve the broadest reach among relevant audiences is a key priority. Expanding our Journal Home partnership will help us increase visibility and engagement across a wider range of journals and research communities.”

Journal Home continues to deliver meaningful value for open access publishers like Compuscript by helping journals connect with highly relevant global research audiences,” said Robyn Mugridge, Head of Partnership Development at ResearchGate. “We’re pleased to expand the partnership to support Compuscript’s partner journals and strengthen visibility, engagement, and authorship opportunities across the ResearchGate network.”
