ResearchGate and Science China Press announce new Journal Home partnership

July 23, 2026

Berlin (Germany) and Beijing (China), 23 July, 2026 – ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and Science China Press, one of China’s most influential science and technology journal publishers, have today announced a new Journal Home partnership. The agreement will increase the international visibility, discoverability, and engagement of Science China Press journals, including all of the publisher’s Chinese-language titles.

Through Journal Home, articles from participating Science China Press journals will be delivered directly to ResearchGate’s global community of more than 25 million researchers, creating new opportunities for the publisher to connect with relevant international research communities as they discover and engage with scholarly content.

The participating titles cover medicine, physical sciences, mathematics, technology, and computing, supporting wider readership and engagement among researchers working across these fields.

Participating journals will benefit from:

  • Increased authorship growth, with Science China Press journals promoted to relevant researchers throughout the research lifecycle, supporting stronger awareness among prospective authors.
  • Increased article usage and readership, with open access content delivered directly to researchers working in relevant fields.
  • Greater international visibility and brand recognition through dedicated Journal Profiles that showcase each title on ResearchGate.
  • Expanded author support, including automatic article sharing to author profiles, engagement insights, and opportunities for researchers to connect and collaborate.

“We are pleased to partner with ResearchGate to expand the global reach, international visibility and impact of our journals,” said Zhao Chai, General Manager at Science China Press. “This collaboration supports our commitment to building a global academic exchange platform and increasing the international visibility and engagement of our journal portfolio.”

“Science China Press publishes important research across a broad range of scientific and technical disciplines, and we are committed to driving the global visibility and international reach of its journal portfolio,” said Mathias Astell, VP of Commercial Product at ResearchGate. “Through Journal Home, participating journals will reach highly relevant researchers all over the world across medicine, physical sciences, mathematics, technology, and computing, helping Science China Press build stronger engagement with international research communities.”
