ResearchGate and Global Science Press announce Journal Home partnership for journals in mathematics and computational sciences

May 7, 2026

Berlin (Germany) and Hong Kong (China), 7 May, 2026 – ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and Global Science Press (GSP), a specialist publisher in mathematics, chemistry, physics & computational sciences, today announced a new Journal Home partnership that will build international visibility, readership, and authorship for a selection of GSP journals.

The new agreement covers 10 of GSP’s hybrid and subscription journals. Journal Home will support these titles by helping connect research in mathematics and computational sciences with relevant audiences worldwide. The partnership aligns with GSP’s objectives to build brand recognition, engage both established and emerging authors, and expand its international author base.

Participating journals will benefit from:

  • Increased article usage and readership, with journal content surfaced to ResearchGate’s community of more than 25 million researcher members where they are already discovering and engaging with related work. This includes subscription access to entitled users as well as all open access content in its hybrid journals.
  • Visibility and growth of international authorship, with stronger interaction with established and emerging authors throughout the research cycle. Improved author experience, including automatic uploads of articles to author profiles and clearer insight into how published research is being read and shared
  • Enhanced journal discoverability and accessibility, with dedicated Journal Profiles and prominent placement that strengthens recognition of the GSP brand and its journals

The partnership marks a significant step in GSP’s strategy to strengthen the global profile of its journals and deepen engagement with research communities across mathematics and computational sciences.

“Mathematics and computational sciences are global disciplines, and the researchers we serve are spread across institutions and regions that are not always well-served by traditional discovery channels,” said Marco Leung, Global Science Press. “Through Journal Home, we can connect our journals directly with researchers who are already engaged in these fields, broadening our author base, deepening readership, and building the sustained visibility that supports long-term journal growth.”

“We’re pleased to welcome Global Science Press to Journal Home,” said Robyn Mugridge, Head of Partnership Development, ResearchGate. “By connecting GSP’s journals with relevant researchers on ResearchGate, this partnership supports greater readership, stronger author engagement, and continued growth for these specialised research communities.”
