ResearchGate and the International Institute of Anticancer Research announce new Journal Home partnership

September 11, 2025

Berlin (Germany) and Highlands, NJ (USA), August 28, 2025 – ResearchGate, the professional network for researchers, and the International Institute of Anticancer Research (IIAR) today announced a new Journal Home partnership that aims to expand IIAR’s readership and encourage high-quality publications in its open access journals.

Founded in 1995, IIAR has a leading portfolio of cancer research journals: Anticancer Research; In Vivo; Cancer Genomics & Proteomics; and Cancer Diagnosis & Prognosis. Through the partnership, IIAR will leverage the strong engagement these journals see already by further growing discoverability, readership, and citations internationally. The journals will benefit from:

  • Increased visibility: all full-text articles will be made immediately available upon publication on the ResearchGate platform and visible to its highly active membership of more than 25 million researchers.
  • Increased engagement with authors: IIAR journals will reach researchers throughout their research and publishing cycles, increasing author engagement and loyalty while growing new authorship.
  • High brand awareness: dedicated Journal Profiles will display key information about each journal, and IIAR branding will be prominently displayed on all associated article pages.
  • Enhanced author service: articles will be automatically added to author profiles, offering them insights into who is reading and citing their work, and new opportunities to engage directly with readers.

Journal Home provides IIAR with a unique ability to build on the strong engagement our journals already have on ResearchGate, increasing their international profile and delivering new services for our authors,” said Dr. George Delinasios, Managing Editor , IIAR. “We’re excited to collaborate with ResearchGate to grow our journal communities in new regions.”

“It’s fantastic to see IIAR take this step to boost engagement with its important anticancer research beyond its core markets in Japan, the USA and Europe,” said Robyn Mugridge, Head of Partnership Development at ResearchGate. “These titles will benefit from full article availability, expanded discovery, deeper engagement with authors, and a clear understanding of who is engaging with their content throughout the research cycle. This is a powerful route to ensure IIAR reaches highly engaged readers and can attract high-quality submissions from cancer researchers worldwide.
